Wedding Location Permits
It is no secret that the permit process for San Diego County wedding locations is confusing. There are different rules, permits and fees for weddings in each specific city. Some cities allow standing room only elopements and weddings for 24 people or less without a permit, and other do not. Permits are always required if there is any setup of chairs, arches, music or decorations. Some cities allow us to pull the permits for the locations, which we can include in our wedding packages, and others require that the couple handle the permit details themselves. We have included some helpful information on location permits below.

Coronado Beach & Bay
The beauty of Coronado Island is unmatched, but governing agencies do not allow the coordinator to pull the permit for those locations.
Permits for Classic Wedding Packages on Coronado Island ARE NOT included in our services.
For full-service Coronado weddings, the couple is required to apply for and purchase the permit themselves.
Please contact us for more info regarding Coronado permits.
California State Beaches & Parks
The State of California does not allow the coordinator to pull the permit, so all permits and fees must be arranged by the couple. We offer a discount if you obtain your own permit.
